I started Lean in 13 on Saturday and am now in my fourth day. The fourth day is a refuel day which means I add fruit to my snack and starches to my lunch and dinner meals.
Today I missed my breakfast and mid-morning snack. However, I did go walking with some jogging this morning. I had a sub sandwich for lunch and will most likely do the same tonight. I will most definitely eat my snack with fruit this afternoon.
The most important thing when doing Lean in 13 or the 24 Day Challenge is that you make sure you take the MNS Max as recommended. You may miss a meal or exercise, but do not miss the supplements if all possible.
I am not supposed to work out with weights today, but because I missed yesterday and will miss Thursday, I am going to do a pretty good work out today. It is not as the plan is laid out, but I ate a pretty good meal today and will most likely use it all up. I worked out of town Thursday through Monday and my meal plan was right on track even though my exercise plan was a little off the mark. I am actually staying with my parents while working out of town, which makes it easy for me. I am still getting home cooked meals! My Mom still likes to feed her son. I just had to train her how to plan meals around my Lean in 13. It has been a good experience for her as well. I introduced a Salmon dish the other day and both parents loved it.
Yesterday, we had stuffed bell pepper with lean ground beef without the rice. It was very good. We also had tomatoes, steamed broccoli, and cucumbers. We actually had steak Saturday with green beans. Sunday was the Salmon with a marinade made with soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and olive oil. Yummm!
Today, I am home with my wife. Tomorrow I will get up early and jog before I head back to my parents and work tomorrow night and Thursday. Thursday is a 12 hour work day and will not do any exercising on that day. I will be home with my wife Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Yeah!
I have not made any measurements, so I do not know how many inches I have gained or lost. I do know that so far, I have not lost any weight. This is no surprise because of the weight training. I do believe that I am thinner in my waist! I cannot wait to measure at the end of the Lean in 13! I know that I do feel better!
I spent some time this morning working with my exercise plan. I have made some adjustments to fit my work schedule. This is so I do not have to carry weights back and forth. I want to make this a new habit and routine so that I can continue a regular exercise and cardio routine for better health and quality of life.
